Hi, I’m Alana.

I am a sound and performance maker interested in liveness, collaboration, and creative technologies.

I create improvised experimental vocal music as alone-a. As a drummer and vocalist, I’ve performed in several bands. I was also a core company member of devised theater ensemble Umbrella Collective.

In my day job as Director of Content and Communications at Arts Midwest, I amplify stories of Midwestern creativity. Before that, I led marketing at The Cedar Cultural Center and Bedlam Theater.

I’m currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
