Next Sunday (March 23) at 7pm, experience an intimate house concert. There’s a lineup of three musicians, with a variety of styles - Alana Horton with electronic ambient music, and Hibah Hassan and Jordy Vaughn with singer-songwriter pop music. Doors open at 6pm, so feel free to arrive anytime between 6pm and 7pm for some free food and drinks.

Alana Horton is a sound and performance maker interested in liveness, collaboration, and creative technologies. Inspired by a love of liveness and the energy of shared experience, she creates improvised experimental vocal music under the moniker alone-a.

Raised in a Muslim household by Pakistani-immigrant parents, often with the buzz of South Asian sound and American Pop music in the background, Hibah’s artistry is defined by a strong passion for storytelling and complex lyricism. Her work is not only reflective of her experiences, but the experiences of her community.

Jordy Vaughn is a Minneapolis-based vocalist and poet whose melodic lyrics dance in an exploration of life’s lessons that arise within love and loss. As a singer, voice teacher and yoga guide, Jordy offers her voice to aid those who seek to explore this divine dance within their own lives.
